Today was almost perfect. It was going so well, and then this happened:
I realised that it could be the perfect opportunity to practice this thing I need to develop called “self-control”. But then I remembered the 80:20 rule – 80% healthy, 20% not so healthy. How perfectly convenient. It was still going to be a great day.
And then I got home and was attacked by a jar of mini chocolate chip cookies that I made over the weekend. You’d think that mini would make them healthier? It doesn’t. It just gives you an excuse to eat more.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad day. Not the greatest, but I got a ton of really good quality nutrients in, and those are what count! Mostly anyway…
